I have arranged some little C flute trios with cool medieval style backings. They are the first six songs from John Dowland's first book of songs for voice and lute. I have transposed the songs into a good range for beginner/intermediate players. I have added modern key signatures and simplified the time signatures to recognisable modern time signatures.
All the accompaniments are enjoyable to listen to and play-along with. Here is the PDF Sheet Music of the trios::
If you want to download the Sheet Music to play yourself click the arrow pointing down
or just print it out

To listen to the backing accompaniments click on a file below. (These do not include the melody just the backings.)
I have made a correction in files changing No1 from F minor to E minor to make it easier for beginner players. Thanks for suggestion Atarah

Just beautiful and well done! I have not really listened to Dowland since I was a theory major. (Not long after Dowland wrote these, I'm afraid!)
